G'day again

Hi Folks

Thanks to those lovely people who've contacted me to let me know they weren't able to leave a comment on this blog. I'll try to find out what the problem is and how to fix it. As I'm new to blogs and blogging this might take a little while, so I hope you won't mind sharing the techno-hiccups with me. If you can let me know how to fix this then please send me an email and I'll see if it can be sorted out faster.

And a special 'G'day' to my follower, I really hope you have some company soon. It's great to see you again, L J, I hope you and your family are well and that your part of northern Victoria's receiving good rain and that your paddocks are thriving.  Are you able to get to Echuca this weekend, I'm sure we'll be able to find a good hot cuppa.

And a big 'G'day' to my international visitors. Yep, there's been people from Russia, the United States and Germany (is that you A J?) reading this blog. Welcome and please comment if you'd like to.

One of the purposes of this blog is to provide a platform for new and original bush poetry. People who come along to my Bush Poetry Writing Workshop at the Echuca Arts Festival this weekend will be offered the opportunity of publishing their work* on the blog.

If you're unable to get to the Echuca Arts Festival but would like to be a part of this blogging experience then it'd be great if you'd like to be involved too.

*The conditions that apply to publication on my blog will be available at the workshop.

Poetry book update

I'm almost sure my Wattle 'n' Wanderings book of original bush verse will be hot off the presses this weekend and ready for sale. Details are still being finalised but it looks like twenty new Aussie Bush Poems are about to be launched for your enjoyment. It's very exciting and I can really feel the anticipation building.

There'll be more details and a report on next week's blog entry.

Cheerio for now,

Nerelie
